****(FOUR STARS)
Film by Andy Warhol, East Hampton, New York, United States
1967
Having shared with this wonderful group of people for several days was an extraordinary experience that I will never forget and they will always be in my heart. – Rolando Peña
In 1967 I had just created The Foundation for the Totality with a group of great artists and Waldo Díaz-Balart who was part of the group, invited us to spend a long weekend at his house of East Hampton to participate in a movie by Andy Warhol that would be called "Four Stars" and which would last 24 hours. We arrived and I improvised with Waldo, Manuel Vicente Peña (aka Manuel Quinto) and the "Banana Cuban Boys" a Happening called "The Paella-Bycicle-Totality-Crucifixion" which was entirely filmed and is part of this great film.
Among the participants for Four Stars movie were Waldo Díaz-Balart, Manuel Quinto (Manuel Vicente Peña), Edie Sedgwick, Gerard Malanga, Billy Name, Ondine, Ingrid Superstar, The Banana Cuban Boys, Simone Swanson (an art curator from New York) who was the film producer, Paul Morrisey films manager and cinematographer for Warhol), and Raquel.
